The Carrier HC42AR460 is a single phase counter clockwise rotating electric motor used in different HVAC equipment. It is a PSC motor, that is, it requires a capacitor to start and operate the motor. PSC motors are ideal for constant use because of their construction. It works on voltage of 460-380 volts and has an output power of quarter horsepower HP. The motor shaft rotates at a speed of 840 RPM. This makes it suitable for powering condenser fan motors, exhaust fans together with other blower applications in HVAC systems.
