Description
The Carrier HH22HB067 is a Single Pole Single Throw close temperature switch a safety device in Carrier HVAC equipment. When the temperature goes high, usually, above 95°F in this case, the switch turns on and breaks the circuit. Such a protection helps to avoid overloading of the compressor and other components of your HVAC system. This is a SPST switch which means that it operates a single circuit and has two positions, open or closed. In normal conditions the switch is in closed position and thus allowing the free flow of current. However when the temperature goes above the limit the switch moves to the open position thereby breaking the circuit and halting the equipment.
