The Carrier HH22PC020 Outdoor Air Thermostat is an electronic thermostat fitted on the wall to control outdoor air in residential applications in HVAC systems. It checks the external environment, and based on what it detects, it summons the HVAC unit to allow fresh air into the building. It also assists in odor control whereby fresh air is drawn in and power conservation since cool air is used indoors during transitional temperatures outside. The Carrier HH22PC020 can be used with different HVAC equipment such as gas, electric, and heat pumps.
