Description
The Cleveland Controls NS2-1110-02 Low-pressure switch is used to measure air pressure in HVAC systems. This switch turns on an electrical circuit when the sensed air pressure is equal to a certain set point in this case 0.12” WC. Most of them use a diaphragm that flexes according to the pressure changes in the chamber. This deflection mechanically operates a switch and sends an electrical signal. These switches are installed in air handlers, furnaces, and rooftop units, they help maintain correct airflow for their operation. Some of the benefits include protection of equipment from inadequate flow, correct combustion in furnaces, and activation of alarms or interlocks.
