Description
The Trane OPR0121 is a 24V damper actuator for use in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. It rotates a dAmper blade up to 90 degrees to control airflow. When powered by 24V AC power, the actuator’s internal motor turns a gear system and positions the damper to control airflow. A spring return mechanism returns the damper to a preset position when power is lost. This damper actuator is commonly used in ductwork to control air temperature between different zones of the building. The actuator controls airflow to maintain desired comfort levels and increase energy efficiency. It can be used, for example, to close off dampers in unused zones and direct warm air to occupied areas during the heating season.
