Description
The Carrier P281-1896S Round Start Capacitor is a must have component in HVAC systems, especially in air conditioning units and heat pumps. The initial surge of power to begin the compressor motor is provided by this oval shaped capacitor measuring 2.2″ long, 2″ wide and 3.8″ high. It has 189 to 227 µF capacitance, 330 VAC voltage rating, and performs reliably in a range of systems. The motor runs at 50/60 Hz frequency and is used to regulate the electrical flow so the motor starts smoother and the system efficiency is better.
