Description
The Xylem-Bell & Gossett P82878 is a centrifugal impeller, which is an important component of Xylem-Bell & Gossett pumps. It is a bladed revolving disc that is housed inside the pump housing. Energy is transferred from the motor to the liquid by the impeller spinning when the motor rotates the shaft. The liquid’s velocity and pressure are increased as a result of the curved blades pushing it outward. Consequently, the liquid keeps going through the pump. Because it is specifically made to be a “full runner” type, the P82878 impeller has a greater diameter than some of the other impeller alternatives. Because of its larger size, the pump can transport more liquid in a given amount of time thanks to higher flow rates.
