Description
The Johnson Controls DPT2091C-250G is a differential pressure transducer which is used in HVAC systems. It calculates the variation in pressure from one point to another – often from ducts or across different air filters. This pressure difference is then converted by the transducer into an electrical signal of 4-20 milliamps (mA). This signal is then sent to a building automation controller, which then receives the signal and changes the HVAC system to the appropriate pressure levels. Pressure control across the AHU coil is essentialin order to achieve the required heat exchange and air distribution in the building. Supervision of pressure contributes to the spinning efficiency and control of excessive utilization of energy by fan.
