Description
The Johnson Controls DPT2670-005D-D is one of the differential pressure sensors that is developed to be used in HVAC systems. It quantifies the pressure differential between two points in a specific air passage, or duct. This pressure differential is of great importance in the regulation and detection of other aspects of airflow within the system. Also, it can be used to control the rates of airflow in variable air volume systems to maintain adequate fresh air supply and comfort levels in a building. It is a 24-volt DC-powered sensor with a measurement range of 0-5 inches of water column, which is convenient for most commercial and residential HVAC applications. It also has a wide operating temperature range of 32°F to 122°F, thus suitable for use in different conditions.
