Description
The Johnson Controls DPT2671-005D-D Differential Pressure Transducer is an HVAC device used for purposes of monitoring and relaying challenges in air pressure differences. It specifically measures differential pressure, this being the pressure at one point in an air system and another point in the same system. This transducer is especially suitable for VAV systems in which the airflow rate must be accurately regulated. It functions by measuring the pressure difference it detects and outputting an equivalent electrical signal of 4-20 mA. This signal is then passed to the building automation system that in turn controls the airflow dampers to regulate pressure in the VAV system. The integrated LCD provides the ability to monitor current pressure readings directly on-site.
