The Resideo Q4100C9042 Silicon Carbide Hot Surface Igniter is suitable for gas-fired HVAC systems. Designed with a 120V application for a reliable ignition. It uses heat to ignite the gas through heating of its Silicon carbide surface. The igniter glows red-hot to light the burner when an electrical current flows through it. A bracket, screw, and wiring are included in the product, which is suitable for use in furnaces and boilers. It has a 5.5” lead wire that makes it suitable for different configurations.
