Description
The Johnson Controls DPT2640-100D Differential Pressure Transducer is an instrument that is used on HVAC systems to determine the absolute pressure difference between two locations. It functions by converting the pressure differential to an electrical signal (0 to 5 VDC) that can be logged by the building automation systems. This can be used to facilitate total control in VAV systems, which increase the efficiency of energy use by supplying only the required conditioned air to various sections in a building. Constructed from 316L stainless steel, the DPT2640-100D is ideal for measuring low-pressure ranges, normally from 0 to 100 Pascal Pa or 0 to 100 (Wc). The operating voltage range of 9 to 30 VDC and temperature range of -20 to 85°C make the device suitable for various HVAC applications.
