Description
The Johnson Controls DPT2641-2R5B is a differential pressure transmitter that is used in HVAC systems. It shows the variation of pressure at two points within a duct or an air handling unit. This differential pressure is essentialin the control of airflow in VAV systems. This is done by converting the obtained pressure difference to a proportional electrical signal of 4-20 mA. This signal is then sent to a VAV controller, which in turn moves the position of the damper to achieve the desired airflow rate. Designed for HVAC applications, the transmitter has a high-pressure range of -2.5 to 2.5 in the water column.
