Description
The Johnson Controls DPT2641-2R5D-A is an HVAC differential pressure transmitter. It quantifies the variation of pressure at two points within a duct or an air handling unit. This pressure difference is essential for a range of operations within an HVAC system. It transmits this measured pressure differential as a 4-20 mA analog output signal that is easily interpretable by building automation systems and controllers. Because of the pressure difference measurement, it is applied to different HVAC equipment. Monitoring the pressure drop across an air filter could give a clue of filter loading. When the filter can catch dust and other particles, the pressure difference has risen as well.
