Description
The Trane SWT1008 SPST Fan Switch is an electrical switch meant to control the flow of power to a fan or some other part of a Trane HVAC equipment including furnaces and air conditioners. It functions at a voltage level of 120/ 277 volts. In simpler terms, it works like a light switch that is used to turn the fan on or off but it is designed for use in the HVAC system. With this, the SPST Fan Switch plays the role of controlling the fan so that it can maintain the appropriate temperature in the rooms in the house as well as control the airflow in the house.
