Description
The Resideo Resideo TDV040 Tri Dicator is a pressure and temperature gauge used in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems. It monitors two key aspects of system performance: temperature and pressure. The gauge displays both readings on a single unit, simplifying system monitoring for technicians and homeowners alike. The Tri Dicator works by utilizing a bimetallic strip that reacts to changes in temperature, causing a pointer to move across a temperature scale. Pressure is measured through a sealed bourdon tube that expands and contracts with pressure fluctuations, indicated by another pointer on the gauge installed on boilers, furnaces, and air handling units, the Tri Dicator helps identify potential problems within 1the HVAC system. By monitoring pressure and temperature, technicians can diagnose issues like clogged filters.
