Description
The Trane THT2064 single-pole thermostat at about and is intended for accurate temperature control of HVAC systems. This type of thermostat can only be operated by moving a single switch to determine the heating and cooling activities. The main element is a 9” capillary tube containing a liquid or a gas as a temperature-measuring instrument. When the temperature around the apparatus is increased or decreased the liquid or gas within the capillary tube expands or contracts respectively. This triggers the inside mechanical system of the thermostat and switches the heating/cooling unit on to offer the required level of convenience. Deem it a responsive switch with a feeler tube integrated into it.
