The Trane THT1393 DPST Control temperature is a switch canine exclusively for use on HVAC apparatus.t. It helps maintain desired temperatures within the system by automatically switching the connected equipment on or off This means the switch can control two different circuits with just one switch. In its basic functionality, a DPDT switch is set up like two physically separate switches sharing the same box. The Trane DPST is designed to switch on at a particular temperature, usually at 140°F and off at 110°F. When the heat rises and reaches the set point the switch is activated. This switch is used in so many applications of HVAC equipment such as furnaces, air handlers, and heat pumps.
