Description
The Carrier EA02SC213 Thermal Expansion Valve is manufactured for commercial HVAC systems with up to 15-ton load capacity. This TXV is an essentialcomponent in an air conditioning system, which controls the refrigerant flow. Compared to the fixed orifice, TXV allows the exact measurement of the amount of refrigerant that gets into the evaporator coil, thus providing the better cooling. It uses a bi-metal sensing bulb that is charged with refrigerant. The more cold refrigerant coming out of the evaporator coil, the lower the sensing bulb pulling down the valve, thus admitting more refrigerant into the system. On the other hand, as the temperature increases, the size of the bulb increases hence reducing the flow of the refrigerant.
