It operates like a pressure switch that is special for refrigerants and as a result, the system is optimally operated and utilized. This TXV operates based on sensing the temperature variations and regulating the flow of coolant to the evaporator coil. This precise control makes it possible to have the refrigerant take the highest amount of heat without forming ice on the coil.
