Description
The Carrier EA03PC503 is an essential component in refrigerant circuits of HVAC systems where it serves as a Thermal Expansion Valve. Constructed from brass to provide a long service, this valve controls the flow of the refrigerant depending on the temperature. it functions as an automatic turn on/off valve for refrigerant. When the temperature in the evaporator coil is low, the TXV opens up more to permit the refrigerant to take heat and cool the air. On the other hand, whenever the temperature increases, the TXV reduces refrigerant flow rate and thus avoids making the evaporator coil too cold.
