Description
The Trane VAL10422 is a Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) valve assembly and is an essentialcomponent in air conditioning and refrigeration systems. That controls the circulation of refrigerant in the system in order to make it provide better cooling. Whereas, a thermal actuator makes the TXV to respond to changes in thermal conditions. When the evaporator coil is cold, the valve opens in attempts to let more refrigerant for more cooling as possible. This accurate regulation of refrigerant has the following advantages. It increases system performance, conserves energy and thus cuts down the costs of electricity bills. It also assists in keeping constant the evaporation temperature to improve comfort as well as avoiding icing of the coils.
