Description
The Trane VAL2381 is a 10-ton thermal expansion valve configured to control the fluidic flow of refrigerant throughout commercial HVAC systems. The TXV precisely controls the amount of refrigerant entering the evaporator coil to maximize system efficiency and performance. Additional relevant features comprise a dimension of 5/8″ x 7/8″, an 8.5-inch length, and a maximum working pressure of 450 MWP PSI of the coupling device. The TXV reduces the quantity of refrigerant that enters the evaporator to avoid overcooking in cases where the temperature is below a certain level at which the evaporator can operate properly. The TXV will allow more refrigerant to flow so that the evaporator can absorb heat at the correct levels to keep the surroundings comfortable.
