Description
The Trane VAL8090 is a Thermal Expansion Valve for use with R-22 refrigerant with an HVAC capacity of 8-ton. One of the essentialcomponents of the refrigeration system, a TXV is otherwise known as a throttling valve. It has an inlet of 5/8” and an outlet of 7/8” to fit most of the HVAC systems that require installation of the Trane model. This valve is made of brass material, and comes with a 5 feet capillary for connection with the system evaporator. It depends on the refrigerant temperature and the capillary tube will act as a temperature sensor to the TXV. This enables the valve to control the refrigerant flow and to regulate temperature within the required evaporation coil.
