Trane VAL7715 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essentialpart for your Trane air conditioning system. A temperature sensing valve for refrigerant control that is capable of adjusting flow rates depending on the cooling loads for moderate loads. Unlike simple on/off types, the TXV has a significant function in cooling. This guarantees that the coil does its work of heat absorption well without icing up and causing problems to your system. Made of stainless steel it is compatible with R-22 refrigerant and has a pressure rating of up to 500 PSI.
