Description
The Johnson Controls VG1245FTH958BAA is a 2″ 2-way solenoid valve that is used to control the fluid flow within a commercial HVAC system. These valves are electrically operated and open and close as a result of a 120V electrical signal. This allows for precise and fully automated control and also metering of water, or glycol, in the system. It has a flow coefficient Cv of 73.7, which means that it can accommodate a limited volume of fluid flow. In HVAC systems, solenoid valves are applied in different applications, such as control of chilled water supply to the air handling units, control of hot water supply to the heating coils, and also control of refrigerant in the chiller systems.
