Description
The Johnson Controls VG12A5HU is a 2-way ball valve designed for high-pressure hot or chilled water applications for commercial and industrial chillers or boilers. It is a 3″ sweat connection valve that can be brazed directly to copper pipes. The main functioning is based on a spinning ball mechanism, which depending on its position, can either completely shut down the water flow or let only the required amount of water through. It has an equal percentage flow characteristic; this is because the percentage of the valve opening is 1directly proportional to the flow allowed. This feature enables the level of temperature inside the HVAC system to be set with high precision.
