Description
The Sensus-Gas Division 071-03406-002 Black Spring is a regulator calibration part used in gas pressure control assemblies for maintaining specified outlet pressure settings. Rated for a 12 PSI range, this black-coded spring is intended for use with compatible 496 series regulator mechanisms in fuel delivery systems. It is commonly applied in burners, boilers, furnaces, and other HVAC systems where controlled gas pressure is necessary for stable combustion conditions. Positioned within the regulator housing, the spring works with the diaphragm assembly to maintain balanced pressure response during gas flow operation in commercial and industrial heating applications.
