The Armstrong International 175A6 is a 1.5-inch sweat connection steam trap designed for use in a variety of HVAC systems. It employs a float and a bimetallic spring to extract and prevent condensate from returning to the device. The float, which is linked to a valve, rises as condensate accumulates in the trap. This closes the valve, preventing condensate from flowing back in.
