Description
The Johnson Controls F-200-41 is a 3/8″ x 3/8″ brass adapter for use in HVAC systems. It forms a coupling between two pipes of equal diameter. This adapter has a barbed end for holding flexible tubing on one end and a compression fitting at the other end to fit rigid pipes or another adapter. The compression fitting works with a screw that pulls a ferrule around the pipe until it forms a seal that does not leak. This adapter is normally used in condensate drain lines, airlines, and low-pressure water lines in HVAC equipment. They are particularly suitable for joining dissimilar pipes and are useful in repairs or adjustments of the existing HVAC systems.
