Description
The Armstrong International 813-1-125 is a 1-inch cast iron inverted bucket steam trap that is precisely designed for use in commercial and industrial steam systems, with a pressure rating of up to 125 psi. This steam trap works on a straightforward yet efficient basis. It utilizes a bucket filled with condensate that floats inside of it. The bucket doesn’t become damaged while steam runs past the trap, enabling continuous flow. But when the condensate builds up inside the trap, the bucket loses buoyancy and tilts, closing the valve seat and stopping the steam flow. The gathered condensate is then released via a tiny opening at the bottom of the trap.
