Description
The Johnson Controls F-1000-393 Compression Sealing Cap is a relatively small part in the overall system of HVAC systems. It is a cap that fits perfectly on a pipe opening and has a diameter of 1/4″ on average. This seal stops refrigerant leakage, which can greatly affect a system’s performance and efficiency. Holes enable refrigerant to escape, hence undercooling or underheating a space in the case of cooling or heating which causes the penetration of moisture and contaminants that cause corrosion and breakdown of the system. It has a compression fitting system, as the installation and removal process is quite simple.
