Description
The Johnson Controls F-1000-395 Anti-Kink Spring Insert is a small part but it is essentialto prevent damage to the HVAC tubing. This spring is 8″ long and made of stainless steel, it is intended to be inserted into the 5/32″ outer diameter plastic tubing. Its helical structure does not allow for sharp bends and kinks which may hinder the flow of air, deform the tubing, and lead to poor performance of your HVAC system. By preventing any obstruction of smooth airflow path, the anti-kink spring insert protects your equipment and optimizes its performance. These inserts are normally installed in HVAC systems where condensate drain lines, control lines, and sensor lines are present.
