Description
The Johnson Controls F-1000-321 Screw Anchor 6-14 Sms is a screw anchor made of plastic used to fasten a wide range of items to concrete walls, ceilings and floors. It operates by growing in diameter of the pre-drilled hole as the screw is tightened and the friction that is generated to hold the anchor in place. This wedging action helps to avoid the situation when the anchor pulls out while the load is being thrown on it. It is specially designed to support HVAC equipment, thermostats, electrical boxes, pipes, conduits, cabinets, shelves, etc. on concrete. The anchor does not involve any tools and can be easily fitted within a short time using only a screwdriver.
