Description
The Ranco E15-256 SPDT de-ice control is designed for use with heat pumps having timer initiated defrost cycles of 30, 45 or 90 minutes. If the E15 series control is set for the selected interval, the heat pump will automatically cycle into defrost mode to melt ice buildup that may interfere with operation or damage. This product prevents ice buildup, maintains heat pump efficiency at high, reduces energy costs and extends equipment life. In HVAC systems and refrigeration systems, the SPDT switch is used for consistent performance. It is important to keep a heat pump in better and smooth operation.
