The Ranco O12-1549 Dual Control is a versatile pressure control switch designed for a variety of HVAC applications. It features two independent pressure settings, providing dual functionality in a single unit. The low-pressure control functions between 10 inches of mercury Hg vacuum and 100 pounds per square inch psi, whereas the high-pressure control handles a wider range, from 150 psi to 450 psi. This capacity allows it to manage both low-pressure systems, such as refrigeration, and high-pressure systems, including air compressors. The control works by monitoring the pressure within the system and activating or deactivating circuits based on the predefined values. When the pressure falls below the low-pressure setting, the control activates the circuit, and when it exceeds the high-pressure setting, it deactivates it.
