The Xylem-Bell & Gossett M28085 Capacitor is an electrical component with a 10 µF and 270 VAC rating with 60Hz systems, which is used to assist in the performance of motor starting and running in pumps and HVAC systems. It is installed on the motor or in the control compartment of circulators, air handlers or condensing units and gives it a phase shift to enhance torque and efficiency.
