Description
The Emerson Flow Control Alco 062055 20-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a high-capacity component used in large refrigeration systems. This TXV is for R-22 refrigerant and has a 7/8” and 1-1/8” sweat connection. It regulates the amount of liquid refrigerant that enters the evaporator exclusively through its ability to feel the temperature and vary the position of the valve. This results in proper circulation of refrigerant hence better system performance, less energy use, better cooling capacity, and general better performance of the system.
