The Carrier HK42ER229 is a Motor Module ECM X-13, which is a modern replacement for PSC motors in Carrier HVAC systems. This small module has dimensions of 5.5” x 6” x 1.5” and comes with a 1/3 horsepower Electronically Commutated Motor. It provides several advantages that PSC motors do not include better efficiency, variable speed, and low noise level. It accepts a regular 208 to 240V power input, provides variable speed counterclockwise rotation, and has a 50/60 Hz operation.
