Description
The Carrier P530-2254 is a Thermostatic Expansion Valve for the R22 refrigerant system used on air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. It regulates the quantity of refrigerant, which is let into the evaporator coil. It measures the temperature of the refrigerant after having gone through the coil. It adjusts the flap to allow the level of superheat the HVAC technician desires, which is the difference of the actual temperature of the refrigerant gas and the saturation temperature. This makes it easy to get the better results out of the system as well as its functions.
