Description
The Copeland 998-7022-05 Discharge Line Thermostat Kit 7/8″ is an essential part in HVAC systems for preventing the burning out of the compressor during operations. It is small, with durability; 7/8 inches long. These are intended for optimal function, and they can suitably fit into other structures regarding construction. Working as a Discharge Line Thermostat, its job is to measure the temperature of the refrigerant in the discharge line coming out of the compressor. In other cases, it is activated when the temperature goes high beyond the prescribed limit due to high working conditions or low refrigerant circulation. It switches off the power supply to the compressor for some period of time so that it may not overheat and hence damaged. Copeland 998-7022-05 provides more protection to the compressor and range of operation has also been extended.
