The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100217961 Diptube Diffuser Kit is a 40” replacement part for water heaters with ¾” x 3” connection. It enhances the effectiveness of a water heater by ensuring that cold water flows at the base of the tank to heat, and avoid formation of layers. Suitable for most Lochinvar and A.O. Smith water heaters, this diffuser kit maintains the hot water flow rate and saves energy at the same time.
