Description
The Carrier HK06MC070 is an SPDT Pressure Switch used in many HVAC systems. This switch acts as a safety guard monitoring on pressures of the system. This switch is set at a certain pressure level before installation, it is usually at 0.35″ WC. If the pressure goes up or down beyond this setpoint, the SPDT configuration results in on/off electrical action. This electrical signal can be used to sound an alarm, to stop the compressor, or to start other auxiliary equipment depending on the need. The switch regulates pressure levels and prevents the Carrier HVAC system from straining and facing damage while assuresing that it runs perfectly.
