Description
The Heatcraft Refrigeration 5002PS is a single-phase, half-horsepower electric motor intended for use in commercial and household refrigeration applications. This crucial element ensures effective functioning by acting as the engine for different system applications. Envision a machine with multiple operations driven by a single motor. Similar functions are performed by the 5002PS, but inside a Heatcraft refrigeration unit. A revolving magnetic field is produced by the motor’s internal parts when it is turned on. The rotor, a cylindrical part of the motor, is affected by this field and rotates in a clockwise (CW) direction at a rate of 1075 revolutions per minute (RPM). The motor shaft then distributes this rotating force to different parts of the refrigeration system, based on the particular use.
