Description
The Cleveland Controls NS2-0438-00 Field Adjustable Switch is used in HVAC systems. It is an electrical part that is sensitive to static pressure in an air duct and can switch control signal on or off. This switch is adjusted for the pressure of 0.80” WC, which means that when the pressure in the duct reaches the indicated level, the control action will be initiated. This switch works on a basic concept. There is a diaphragm that responds to changes in pressure of the air. When the static pressure in the duct is equal to the setpoint, it moves the diaphragm. This deflection actuates a set of internal contacts which are programmable to either open or close an electrical circuit.
