The BASO Gas Products C661PGA-1C Intermittent Pilot Ignition Control is used with different types of HVAC systems including furnaces and boilers. This 24V unit controls the ignition sequence by first, providing a 15-second gas purge to the combustion chamber. It then tries to ignite for 8 seconds. In case ignition fails, the control will normally be locked out for safety. This makes it possible for the main burner’s fuel ignition to be safe and consistent. Advantages include; safety from the accumulation of gases, proper functioning of HVAC systems, and proper ignition, which results in energy conservation.
