The Mueller Industries A15629 is a miniature and robust inline check valve which is used to avoid backflow in piping systems. This 3/8” valve is made from brass material that assures the product’s durability and reliability in different HVAC uses. An example of this kind is the inline check valves through which the fluid can flow in one direction but which shut as soon as the flow is reversed. The A15629 has an internal mechanism that is spring loaded. When the fluid flows in the intended direction, the spring keeps a small internal flapper open. If the flow tries to reverse, the flapper shuts against the spring and the valve shuts to stop reverse flow.
