Description
The Mueller Industries A14838 is a replacement straight valve that is constructed with brass material for the HVAC market. It has a 1/4 inch diameter opening and has solder connections on both ends to ensure no leakage when installed. Straight valves such as the A14838 provide for a shut off of fluid flow in a straight line of the pipe. This is useful for separation of parts during times when maintenance or repairing of HVAC equipment with refrigerant lines, water lines or condensate drains is being done. The shut-off feature ensures that technicians can address certain sections of the system without causing disruption to other operations.
