Description
The Fireye MEP149 Programmer is a control module used in burner management systems to coordinate the ignition sequence of fuel-fired heating equipment. In HVAC systems and industrial heating units, it manages the timed operating cycle of the burner, including a 30-second purge period, a 5-second pilot trial for ignition, and a 90-second post-purge stage. These timed operating supports ensure proper airflow clearing, ignition control, and safe shutdown. Installed within compatible control assemblies, the programmer acts as the timing and sequencing component that burner startup, flame establishment, and post-operation ventilation.
