The Resideo FC200E1011 MERV 13 Charged-Media Filter is designed as a charged-media air filter in HVAC systems enhancing Indoor Air Quality. This is a media air cleaner that comes in a size of 20” x 20” and has a MERV 13 rating meaning it can trap almost all particles in the air including pollen, dust, mold spores, and pet dander. The charged-media design enhances the filter’s efficiency because it captures small particles that the ordinary filters cannot. Thus, with a static pressure drop of only 0.28” WC at 500 FPM, this provides effective airflow while providing the highest level of filtration. This low pressure drop affects system efficiency and energy use little which makes it suitable for residential and commercial HVAC systems.
